The Ontario government is currently giving rebates of up to thirty per cent on clean energy installations such as battery storage systems, heat pumps, solar panels and smart thermostats.
Guest speaker Herb Sawatsky, of 50by30 Niagara, will give the low-down on what energy-efficient renovations and upgrades are best for your home, and
Niagara-on-the-Lake’s new Climate Change Co-ordinator Kassie Burns will talk about her role in leading the Town’s commitment to sustainability and adapting our communities to become more resilient to climate change.
Our third program feature is a presentation of “Two Degrees: How to Pave The Way To Renewable Energy”, a short but inspiring documentary about how one country is leading the way towards 100 per cent clean energy use.
All are welcome to this free program. Find out more about Seniors for Climate in Niagara on Facebook.
