10 Busted In OPP Led Cannabis Raid in St. Catharines

OPP and NRP execute search warrant at Health Canada licenced grow operation

In a release, provincial police say they raided the grow op on Friday after finding infractions to the Cannabis Act had taken place.

Police seized 14,536 cannabis plants worth more than $14 million and over 2,000 pounds of pot worth more than $2 million.

10 people were charged with one count each of harvesting cannabis without authorization.

The accused are:

47 year old Meng Zhang of Toronto

40 year old Jing Zhang of Scarborough

20 year old Anhtuan Nguyen of Toronto

21 year old Thi Hua Pham of North York

20 year old Minhdat Ho of North York

53 year old Jumbao Wang of Markham

19 year old Son Bao Ngo of North York

27 year old Yugie Yang of London, Ontarii

52 year old Shunping Zhang of Markham
