All Ontario Adults Can Receive Accelerated Second COVID-19 Shot

The province is accelerating second dose eligibility to Ontarians 18 and older ahead of schedule.

Beginning Monday at 8:00 a.m., all residents who have received their first dose of an mRNA vaccine can book their second ahead of schedule.

In addition, beginning tomorrow, all youth aged 12 to 17 who live in areas where the Delta variant is a concern can book an accelerated second dose.

These areas include Durham, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, Porcupine, Toronto, Simcoe-Muskoka, Waterloo, York or Welling-Dufferin-Guelph public health units.
