Canada to Take on Belgium in its First World Cup Game Since 1986

Game will kick off at 2:00 p.m.

It's a day that's been decades in the making. 

This afternoon, Canada will play in its first World Cup game in 36 years, taking on Belgium. 

Coach John Herdman says star player Alphonso Davies is "ready to go" after suffering a hamstring injury. 

Canada is ranked 41st in FIFA standings, while Belgium is in second place. 

The game will start at 2:00 p.m.
