Canadian Economy Adds Over 100,000 in October

Unemployment remains steady at 5.2 percent.

Statistics Canada has released its latest job numbers. 

The agency says about 108,000 jobs were added in Canada last month. 

The country's unemployment rate remains steady at 5.2 percent, as more people look for work. 

Employment rose in numerous sectors, including food services and manufacturing. 

Wages were 5.6 percent higher than a year ago, however, they remain short of inflation.
