It has to do with trees planted where kids toboggan
City of Port Colborne plans to look into where certain tree planting is being done.
Councillor Gary Bruno says it has to do with trees planted at Rose Shymansky Park, and a certain hill or mound where kids toboggan.
He's been to the area to check it out. "If you look at the sides, and the back, facing the subdivision street there, could be little tikes going down a shallower slope, but the trees are there."
He's hoping next year the city will be better prepared for tree planting, and not be as rushed as this time round.
