No word yet if Biden administration will appeal
Much confusion today after a Florida judge struck down the national mask mandate on airplanes and mass transit leaving it up to individual airlines, passenger trains and even Uber to decide if travellers should mask up.
After yesterdays ruling many airlines, as well as Amtrak and Uber immediately began repealing their face covering requirements.
But Business Insider reporting United Airlines has told its employees "the mask mandate remains in effect as the airline awaits further information from the federal government."
The airline is waiting to see if the Biden Administration appeals the court ruling.
On its website, Buffalo airport officials are still referring travellers to the TSA website which says face masks must still be worn inside airports.
