Hockey Coach Faces Child Porn Charges

NRP made the arrest at a home in Welland today, finding a number of electronic devices

A minor hockey coach in the Niagara region has been charged with accessing and possessing child porn.

Last month, police began investigating an unknown individual who was accessing such material into a cloud storage space.

Officers used a search warrant today at a home in Welland, and found a number of electronic devices.

They arrested 49-year old Patrick F. Paone, who had a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.

Police add anyone who accesses, or shares Child Sexual Abuse Material can be identified and held accountable.
