Online gaming market opens up today in Ontario
We can now wager on casino games and sporting events through online websites and smartphone apps from registered operators.
Twenty-five operators were registered with iGaming Ontario as of Friday.
Sources predict online gaming could bring close to a billion dollars in revenue in its first year.
The move to online gaming has land based casino operators concerned, but the province insists the move will compliment their operations.
