He crashed his car into a drained portion of the Welland Canal, and now he's turning himself in.
Twenty-three-year-old Aaron Corey Brown surrendered at a police station in Niagara Falls on Sunday.
He's being held in custody for a court date on Thursday.
The vehicle Brown was driving went into a tree, before going into the drained part of the Welland Canal on January 21st.
Six people were in the vehicle and one was treated at an out-of-town hospital for serious injuries.
Brown is charged with dangerous operation and failing to stop causing bodily harm.
