Niagara College Program to Be Featured on National Television

Niagara College's Commercial Cannabis Production program to be featured on CBC comedy show.

A Niagara College program will be featured on CBC programming tonight.

Students and faculty from the Commercial Cannabis Production program will make an appearance on the show "This Hour Has 22 Minutes."

The school says the segment, which will star comedian Leonard Chan, will features scenes filmed inside a research facility at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus.

The one year post-graduate program, which was launched in 2018, is the first to train highly skilled professionals in the industry to grow cannabis to Health Canada standards.
