The $4-million will support advanced manufacturing
More money being pumped into Niagara College by the federal government, this time $4-million.
Yesterday it was a $365,000 investment for electric vehicle programs at the school, now the focus is advanced manufacturing.
The money is for the Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing Innovation, meant to support student training with participating companies, act as a hub for clients, and support industry needs through referrals.
It's meant to promote growth and industrial transition in areas such as 0-emissions vehicles, clean growth and advanced manufacturing.
The money will also help development projects enhancing greater diversity in economic growth.
