Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff announces funding
Niagara's youth receiving some great news regarding mental health services in the region.
Ontario government has announced $31 million across the province to help improve access to specialized mental health treatment services.
Locally, Pathstone Mental health is getting around $404, 700 while Niagara Health will receive almost $37, 500.
Oosterhoff says the funding will aim to reduce waitlists and wait times, support the mental health and wellbeing of children and youth and will address the increased demand for services during COVID-19.
