
Province confirms 847 patients with COVID-19 in hospital, with 273 in ICU.
A jump in new COVID-19 cases throughout the province.
Officials reporting 1,959 new infections and 27 more deaths today, three of which occurred over a month ago.
There were 18.094 tests completed yesterday.
There are 847 hospital patients battling the virus, 44 percent admitted due to COVID-19.
The province also confirming 273 people in ICUs due to COVID-19, 18 percent having the virus but being admitted for other reasons.
To date, over 31.7 million vaccinations have been administered.
About 92.6 percent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have one shot and 90.6 percent have two.
Health Minister Christine Elliott also tweeting out more than 7 million Ontarians have received a booster dose.
