One man hospitalized with what is believed to be life threatening injuries, following a stabbing in Niagara Falls.
One person has been arrested, and police are on the hunt for a second suspect in connection to an attempted murder.
Police say around 6:40 last night, officers responded to an assault call on Arad Street near Drummond Road in Niagara Falls.
Upon arrival, a male victim suffering from stab wounds was found.
He was treated at the scene for what was believed to be life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a local hospital before being transferred to an out of region hospital.
Investigators say around 6:30, two men were allowed into a home on Arad Street, when they began to repeatedly punch the victim.
One suspect held the victim while he was stabbed by the other suspect multiple times with a knife.
The pair ran from the scene, but one of the suspects was arrested a short time later in Niagara Falls.
The second suspect hasn't been located.
Thirty-six year old Peter William Charles Blaker of Niagara Falls has been arrested and faces numerous charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Meanwhile, 49 year old Patrick Charles Cline of Thorold is wanted for several charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Cline is described as white, about 6'0 and 256 pounds.
He has blue eyes, is unshaven and brown hair that is cut short in a brush cut.
He has over 25 tattoos, including the words "St. Patrick" on the left side of his neck, and the words "Jason Dean" on his right hand.
Other tattoos include an Irish theme script on the right side of his neck, and a clover, a skull with the words "Mical Lucas" and the word "That" on his left hand.
