Health Minister says more details will be released this week
Christine Elliott says her government is considering expanding third dose eligibility to more age groups.
This comes amid concerns about the new Omicron variant.
Elliot says she will have more details in the coming days.
Right now third shots of the COVID vaccine are limited to those over 70, people who are immunocompromised, individuals who received two shots of Astra Zeneca, those in long term care homes and Indigenous Ontarians
The move comes as health experts put pressure on the province to get more booster shots in arms before the Omicron variant establishes a foothold in Ontario.
