The province is expecting to spend an additional $2.6 billion to fight COVID-19.
This will bring Ontario's one-time pandemic spending to $13.3 billion.
The funds were provided by the federal government, and the province confirms that all of the money has been allocated.
Many of the funds have been pledged towards creating a grant program for small businesses, as well as supporting hospitals and long-term care homes.
Ontario released it's third quarter financial report today, revealing that the projected provincial deficit will remain at $38.5 million, which is unchanged from the 2020 budget that was released in November.
Additionally, the province has set up a $3.9 billion contingency fund to address further pandemic-related spending needs.
