Canadian Niagara Power says additional outages are popping up due to ice build-up.
About 300 customers in Crystal Beach and Point Abino are without power.
Update to previous post. We were down to 156 customers without power. However, ongoing ice build-up continues and is contributing to additional outages. Canadian Niagara Power says all power has been restored in the affected communities.

Canadian Niagara Power says about 434 customers remain without power, mostly in the Crystal Beach area.
Crews continue efforts to restore power for all customers.

The weather has resulted in a significant power outage in Port Colborne and Fort Erie.
Canadian Niagara Power says about 835 homes are without power.
Crews are working on the issue, and there is no word yet on when power will be restored.
