Police say this is the largest gun bust in Ontario history, working with American forces
A 35-year old St. Catharines man is wanted by police after a massive gun and drug bust, by Ontario and American police forces.
Early last year they began looking into the trafficking of guns in the GTA, which also led to infiltrating crime groups that revealed illegal drugs.
Police intercepted 168 illegal guns destined for Ontario, from Buffalo and Miami.
They also used 17 search warrants in the GTA and Niagara region on February 13th and 14th, resulting in the largest seizure of guns in Ontario's history... 106.
16 people have been arrested in Ontario, and police are still looking for Eric Robinson of St. Catharines. Most people arrested are from the GTA, and another is from Thorold.
OPP say the total amount of guns and drugs is roughly $3.25-million.
