
Donations will go benefit Community Care
A community-wide food drive is taking place in Thorold.
One Thorold, in collaboration with it Thorold Neighbourhood Hubs initiative, will hold the event, and donations will benefit Community Care Thorold.
Organizers say while all donations are appreciated, the following items are needed the most:
- Canned vegetables
- Juice boxes
- Baby food and cereal
- Canned pasta/stew
- Peanut butter
- Personal hygiene items
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations tomorrow:
- Foodland - 9 Pine Street North
- Thorold South Port Robinson Community Centre - 40 Cross Street
- Rebuild Church - 16 Overholt Drive
- Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel - 54 Sunset Way
As well, the following locations are accepting donations now through tomorrow:
- City of Thorold Offices
- Love 4 Paws Rescue
- Prince of Wales Public School
- Thorold Community Activities Group
- Thorold Public Library
- Westmount Public School
