Between 50 and 60 mm of rainfall expected
Niagara is now under a rainfall warning
Environment Canada says significant rainfall between 50 and 60 mm is expected today through tomorrow morning.
The rain is due to a cold front and a moisture laden low pressure system that will arrive from the American Mid-west.
Motorists are warned that heavy downpours can cause flash flooding and water pooling on roads.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
There may also be localized flooding in low-lying areas.
