Niagara Region has updated the Smoke and Vape-Free Outdoor Spaces By-law.
It now also includes beaches and recreational trails as areas that tobacco, cannabis and vaping products are banned from.
A full list of areas that smoking is prohibited in can be found on the Niagara Region website here.
Currently under the Smoke-Free Ontario Act you can smoke on sidewalks, parking lots and roads.
