It's making life easier one step at a time.
Students at Brock University have developed an app aimed at making life easier for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
It's called StepbyStep Tasks and it was created by two computer science students.
Javon Luke and Tianyuan Zhang have been using the app as part of a study working with Community Living Haldimand.
The app gives step-by-step instructions on how to complete a task, using a variety of audio and visual prompts.
It focuses on a range of everyday tasks from running errands to doing laundry.
The app helps people living with disabilities gain confidence and independence, improving their overall quality of life.
