Celebrate Family Day in St. Catharines

There will be lots of fun things to do in St. Catharines this Family Day.
You can take advantage of free swimming at the Kiwanis Aquatics Centre alongside a Pop Up Play Tent and Fun Zone.
Free skating will also be available at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will be offering special behind-the-scenes tours and flash light tours.
The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre will be opening it's doors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets for their showing of Pete the Cat and Emily Brown and the Thing cost $15. They will also be offering family friendly activities including free puppet workshops with Carousel Players, furry friends in the lobby and free animated short films at the Film House.
A handful of City locations will be closed on Monday. They are as follows;
- City Hall
- Enterprise Centre
- Parks, Recreation and Culture Services administration office
- Dunlop Drive, Port Dalhousie and West St. Catharines older adult centres
- Russell Avenue and Port Weller community centres
- Victoria Lawn Cemetery offices (visitation is always available from dawn to dusk)
Public transit will be operating on it's holiday schedule.
