St. Catharines Man Wins Big

He's won a ticket to a more comfortable life.

A St. Catharines man has won $500,000 with a spin of the Big Spin Wheel at OLG's Prize Centre in Toronto.

Glenn Wicks stopped at an Avondale to buy his ticket, on his way home from donating blood.

He bought a Big Spin ticket and won a spin of the wheel in Toronto.

The 56-year-old crossing guard plans to renovate his home and live a bit easier with his winnings.

The winning ticket was bought at Avondale on Welland Avenue in St. Catharines.
