Two Arrested in St. Catharines Drug Bust

Two people have been arrested after Niagara Regional Police searched a home in the north east end of St. Catharines.
Police found drugs, $1,500 cash and a handgun with ammunition yesterday morning. The cocaine and morphine both had a combined street value of about $6,000.
A 34-year-old has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and six firearms related offences.
A 29-year-old has also been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and five firearms related offences.
