Unemployment Rate Down Slightly in Niagara

The jobless rate is going down slightly in Niagara.
It dropped to 6.5 percent last month, down from 6.6 percent in March.
We also saw the biggest one-month employment surge across Canada, with over 106,000 jobs added to the market.
The national unemployment rate is 5.7 percent in April, compared to 5.8 percent the month before.
