Welland Native Representing Team Canada at FIFA Women's World Cup

She started off in the Rose City and now she's competing at the FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

Welland's very own Sabrina D'Angelo is a goalkeeper and she's sporting #21 for Team Canada.

Team Canada will hit the soccer pitch for the first time today, with a match against Cameroon taking place at 3:00 p.m. EST.

The World Cup kicked off on Friday June 7th and it should wrap up on Sunday July 7th.
